Why subscribe?

An employee’s career is a journey where the employee trades value with one or more employers. I have seen many people derail their careers because they don’t understand that simple truth. Some expect their employers to give them more value over time without investing in raising the value they give to the employer. Others, put too much effort and provide so much value without taking credit or seeking equivalent value in return.

An entrepreneur builds a business to provide value for customers in exchange for value. The amount of effort placed into a product or a service has no relationship to the success of that business. If potential customers don't see the value, they won't become customers. Many people build products that they like without thinking about the potential customers, then they get surprised when they fail.
